Gems Venetian Plaster - Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Services

  • GEMS Venetian Plaster provides decorative plastering services, including but not limited to Venetian plaster, microcement, rock effect, grassello, marmorino, lime wash, and other related finishes.

 

  • The specific scope of work, including materials, design, and finish, will be detailed in the service agreement or contract signed by both parties before the commencement of work.

 

2. Estimates and Pricing

  • All estimates provided are based on the information available at the time and are subject to change if additional work or materials are required.

  • A detailed breakdown of costs, including labor, materials, and any additional charges, will be provided in the contract.

  • Prices are subject to change due to market fluctuations in material costs, but any changes will be communicated to the client before proceeding.

 

3. Booking and Payment Terms

  • $500 deposit required on or before the commencement of work or any sample board after selecting of colour and Design.

  • Payment can be made in 5 Parts through the process of work.

  • 15% After prepping and finish coats of primer before buying of any product.

  • 25% after Base coat of the whole job.

  • 25% after coats and polishing and prepping to finish the
    feature walls.

  • Final 25% payment of all outstanding amounts is required upon completion of work after walking through the finished walls. 

  • Colour to be conformed from the catalog on the first day of inspection

  • We accept various forms or payment including credit/debit cards and other EFT Payment methods such as Bank Transfer or Pay ID

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule the service with at least 2 weeks notice without penalty.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start date may incur a fee to cover lost time and materials and may not be eligible for a refund. No-shows are non-refundable.

  • GEMS Venetian Plaster reserves the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or material delays, with prior notice to the client.

5. Warranty and Liability

  • GEMS Venetian Plaster offers a 1year warranty on workmanship. This warranty covers defects in the application process but does not cover damage caused by external factors such as moisture, impact, or improper maintenance.

  • The client is responsible for maintaining the finished surfaces according to the care instructions provided.

  • GEMS Venetian Plaster is not liable for any damage caused by pre-existing conditions in the structure or substrate, such as moisture infiltration or structural defects.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • The client must ensure that the work area is accessible and free of obstructions before the start date.

  • Any necessary permits or permissions for the work must be obtained by the client prior to the commencement of services.

  • The client agrees to inspect the work upon completion and communicate any concerns immediately.

  • We ask all clients engage respectfully. Disruptive behaviour or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of services without a refund.

 

7. Changes to the Work and Terms

  • Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work must be requested in writing and may result in additional charges.

  • GEMS Venetian Plaster will provide a revised estimate or change order for approval before proceeding with any additional work.

  • We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at anytime. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying clients.

 

8. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • GEMS Venetian Plaster respects the privacy of its clients and will not share personal or project-related information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through negotiation or mediation before pursuing legal action.

  • Any unresolved disputes will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

 

10. Acceptance

  • By signing the service contract, the client agrees to these terms and conditions. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
